Recorded voice and text, 2017.

This work looks closer at the role of punctuation in speech. Two accents are used; a women from North Edinburgh, a women from West London. Their cadence and pace tell the same story differently – an account of an observer entering a stranger's flat and then picking apart the occupier's interior, before being subject to brief 'no strings attached' intercourse.

Maria Bojanowska (London), 5:58 minutes

Holly Knox Yeoman (Edinburgh), 5:31 minutes

The work installed on a 32" monitor, on loop, at the Glue Factory, Glasgow.
Each voice played out loud to the synced text, with intervals of silent text in between.
